I didn't expect to see such a large sitting Buddha in Guanyun County, Lianyungang. It's truly amazing 👀 It's a great place to pray and take photos. If you come to Lianyungang and don't know where to go, 🧡How to get there 1. Self-driving: Navigate to "Shifo Temple, Guanyun County". The parking lot charges a reasonable fee and has plenty of spaces. 2. Public transportation: Take a train to Guanyun Station, then transfer to Bus 2. The terminal station is Shifo Temple. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Enjoy the small town scenery along the way. 🧡Tour route ▪️Enter through the mountain gate and take in the open space at Maitreya Square. Take a photo with the smiling Maitreya Buddha. Walk along the path to the Mahavira Hall and admire the flying eaves, painted beams, and carved rafters. The Buddha statues in the hall are solemn. Pray and experience the strong Buddhist atmosphere. ▪️Go to the foot of Yishan Buddha and look up at the grand Buddha. There are bell and drum towers nearby. Listen to the bells. ▪️If you have enough energy, you can climb the mountain to Shifo Temple. The path is shaded by trees. The ancient temple is quiet. Explore this hidden gem and find peace. ▪️Yishan Scenic Area is nearby. Admission is free. You can visit both places. 🧡Tips 1. Respect religious customs.
