Panoramic Viewpoint - Hallstatt Skywalk

#2024mapped Austria-The land of sound and music and best scenery. One of my favourites is Hallstatt. Hallstatt is a village on Lake Hallstatt's western shore in Austria's mountainous Salzkammergut region. Its 16th-century Alpine houses and alleyways are home to cafes and shops. A funicular railway connects to Salzwelten, an ancient salt mine with a subterranean salt lake, and to the Skywalk Hallstatt viewing platform. A trail leads to the Echern Valley glacier garden with glacial potholes and Waldbachstrub Waterfall. If you are planning to go to the Skywalk Hallstatt, please buy a ticket to take the up and down furnicular in advance so you would have more time. There is a restaurant up there but you have to be early. Don't go at noon because too many people and the place will be packed and definately long waiting.
