Lingyin Temple, Hangzhou

Lingyin Temple: Located on Fayun Lane, Lingyin Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou, facing Feilai Peak and backed by Beigao Peak. It is a famous temple in Hangzhou and a key national temple of Han Chinese Buddhism. Originally built in the first year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, its founding patriarch was the Indian monk Huili. The temple's buildings are distributed along a central axis, including the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, the Guanyin Hall, and the Jigong Hall. With its magnificent architecture, flourishing incense, and numerous believers, it is a sacred place for people to worship Buddha and pray for blessings, and a must-visit destination for Hangzhou tourism.
