Shidetang Hall in Longmen Ancient Town, Hangzhou, Zhejiang

Built during the Ming Dynasty, Shidetang Hall was constructed by Sun Nianyang, the 44th-generation descendant of Sun Quan, to commemorate his ancestor Sun Zhong's virtuous act of planting melons and accumulating merit, inspiring future generations to inherit the virtues of their predecessors. The hall features three bays and two alleys, with front and rear courtyards, flower beds, and the rear courtyard serving as the main living quarters. Sun Nianyang was dedicated to public welfare in Longmen, benefiting the entire village. Qian Jinxi, the magistrate of Fuyang County, bestowed the plaque "Huaguo Ruzong" (Confucian Master of China) upon the hall. The second entrance of Shidetang Hall houses the "1826 Photography Museum." It is a key cultural relic site in Fuyang District.
