Amongst the best

Bakehouse is a very familiar name in Hong kong. They have several outlets. I do the one in Wan Chai which tends to be the closest to me. One of my favourite spots in wanchai. Bakehouse does some excellent bakes and breakfast items. It's probably easier to eat in than to get a takeaway. But both require waiting. Although once you get your hands on their bakes, it's all worth it. Most recently I tried the sourdough egg tart and i thought it was brilliant, it just melts in your mouth..the baked goods were flaky and buttery, the fresh ones were especially enjoyable. the sausage roll would have been better if it was heated but that's okay. The pies and tarts were my favourite, I hope to try the sweeter ones next time. #chinatrip #goodfoods #localgems
