Ehime🇯🇵JR Shimonada Station

JR Shimotan Station located on the outskirts of Iyo City is a small seaside station with only one platform where you can enjoy the endless sea view, making it a well-known attraction here. The station has also appeared in movies and TV series, making it a popular photo spot. The station is on the JR Yozan Line, less than an hour's drive from Matsuyama Station. Riding on the single-car train that stops at Xiatan Station may remind some of you of a scene from Studio Ghibli's popular animated film "The Hidden Girl." The Iyonada Monogatari sightseeing train runs along the beautiful coast of Ehime Prefecture.
