Honghe Prefecture's Jianshui County, during the Hongwu years of the Ming Dynasty, the Ming court set up Lin'an Prefecture here. This border city of scholars, with the sound of reading like the spring breeze season after season, has brushed a thousand years, the green stone lanes, carrying water and chopping wood sketch out the ancient city's thousand-year charm.
