Riu Palace Zanzibar

Riu Palace Zanzibar, a superb hotel with excellent conditions and a wonderful beach. Upon arriving at the resort, we entered a different world, completely different from what we had seen so far. The hotel is totally different from all the ones we have seen before: the reception is separate in a small building, just it and nothing else, outside there are some very interesting armchairs where you can wait to check in, close to a bar (lobby bar) which was also in another separate building. A gentleman picked us up with a golf cart, with all our luggage, and took us to our rooms. The hotel is built like an amphitheater on three levels, so all rooms have an ocean view. Each room has a terrace with chairs and a table, but also a large lawn area: I can't explain it very well, so I'll post pictures for you to understand, but I've never seen such an ingenious construction, made so that everyone benefits from a superb view every day, paradise on earth. The room was superb, large, with a canopy bed, a bathroom with everything you need and something new: here, the maids came twice a day, once in the morning and the second time when people went to dinner (they made the bed, arranged the curtains on the canopy, sprayed mosquito spray, and tidied up). Employees like those in this resort I have never met, attentive, smiling, ready to satisfy any request.
