Kotor is a medieval town located on the east coast of the Bay of Kotor in southwestern Montenegro. In 2016, Lonely Planet listed it as one of the top 10 must-visit cities. As the old town is well-preserved, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To get to the old town, you must first pass the moat. The ancient city wall surrounding the old town of Kotor was built from the 9th to the 18th century. The solid city wall and the clear green moat form a beautiful picture.
