Get ready for an offbeat foodie adventure in Sihanoukville with a trip to Ant Cave BBQ! This spot is all about smoky goodness, tongue-tickling marinades, and an unforgettable Cambodian barbecue experience that feels both local and Insta-worthy.

Ant Cave BBQ
Address: Ortres Beach, Sihanoukville, Cambodia
Signature Dishes: You can’t come here without grilling up their marinated pork belly, juicy skewers, and fresh seafood platters—super fun to cook right at your table. Don’t miss the spicy dipping sauces and grilled local veggies for a fresh twist!
Vibe/Ambience: Relaxed, open-air, and beachy; think string lights, laid-back tunes, and epic sunset colors—ideal for both backpacker crews or a chill dinner date.
Opening Hours: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Key Strengths: What sets Ant Cave BBQ apart is the interactive grill-your-own feast paired with ultra-fresh local ingredients, all delivered with friendly, fun service. It’s the perfect blend of Sihanoukville’s coastal vibe and Cambodia’s unique food culture.

Pro tip: Arrive before sunset for the best seats and prime people-watching. The DIY grilling is extra fun with friends, and the beach just steps away is great for a post-dinner stroll.

🔥 Malaysia Ultimate Experience 🇲🇾 | Kuala Lumpur Energy + Langkawi Paradise (Sept 2024)

My trip to Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi in September 2024 was honestly one of the most complete travel experiences I’ve ever had. It felt like two different worlds in one trip—fast-paced city life mixed perfectly with peaceful island vibes.

In Kuala Lumpur, the city immediately stands out with its modern skyline and diversity. Visiting the Petronas Twin Towers was unforgettable, especially at night when the towers light up and the whole area becomes vibrant and full of life. I also explored Batu Caves, which is a must-visit—colorful stairs, massive cave temples, and a very unique cultural atmosphere. The city is extremely convenient to explore with metro lines and ride-hailing apps, and you’ll find everything from luxury malls to street markets within minutes.

After a few days in the city, I headed to Langkawi—and that’s where the trip turned into pure relaxation mode. The beaches were incredibly clean, the water crystal clear, and the whole island had a calm, stress-free vibe. One of the biggest highlights was the Langkawi Sky Bridge, the views from the top are absolutely insane, overlooking mountains, rainforest, and the ocean all at once. I also did island hopping, which I highly recommend if you want to see hidden beaches and untouched nature.

Food in Malaysia deserves special mention. From nasi lemak and satay in Kuala Lumpur to fresh seafood in Langkawi, every meal felt like part of the experience. Prices are very reasonable, and you can easily balance between budget and luxury options depending on your preference.

Tips for travelers:

· Spend at least 3–4 days in Kuala Lumpur to cover main attractions comfortably
· Then fly to Langkawi for 2–3 days to relax and explore
· Visit the Petronas Towers at night for the best atmosphere
· Go early to Batu Caves to avoid crowds and heat
· Book island tours in Langkawi locally—they’re cheaper and flexible

Overall, this trip delivered everything city views, culture, nature, food, and relaxation. Malaysia is extremely traveler-friendly, well-organized, and offers incredible value for money. This is easily a destination I would recommend to anyone, whether it’s your first trip to Asia or not.
