KUALA LUMPUR OLDEST SURVIVING MARKETPLACE

#meetkualalumpur Built in 1888, This central market ( also known as Pasar Seni ) among locals is KL's oldest surviving marketplace. Used to be a wet market for residents of Kuala Lumpur back then, nowadays it becomes a centre for all artists to showcase their talents. It also features a foodcourt on first floor as well as many shops selling handmade crafts, traditional clothes, batik and souvenirs. This central market can be accessed easily by LRT and MRT Pasar Seni station. Operating hours start from 10 am and close at 8 pm everyday.
