Get off at the "Suizenji Koen" tram stop, from where the park can be reached in a short walk. Highlights: Suizenji Garden is a spacious, Japanese style landscape garden in Kumamoto, best enjoyed by strolling along a circular path. It was built by the Hosokawa family in the 17th century.😃 Although the garden spans a relatively modest 64.6 hectares, it contains Japanese imagery from throughout different regions and time periods.
