Rainbow Pier Day 1: We drove on the national highway for 7 hours to reach Yangshan Island. It was the first time for the children to run on the cross-sea bridge. They were super excited and happy. Yangshan Island is the back garden of many locals. The small bay beach is crowded with children and adults and sunshades. If you don’t experience the marine entertainment projects, then you really don’t have to spend a penny extra on this island! Tickets are free, parking is free, and footbaths are free! Camping at night in the courtyard of the Gaogong Island Community Party and Mass Service Center is still free! The next day: get up early, have breakfast, and drive to Haiyifang Park to catch seafood. The children quickly made new friends on the big beach and had a lot of fun carrying small buckets to catch crabs and pick up small shells with their friends. At noon, we drove to Xugou for a seafood feast, but the mantis shrimps and swimming crabs were not plump enough. At noon, we returned to the Metasequoia forest in Haiyifang Park to camp and take a nap. In the afternoon, we went to the sea to dig sand. We spent 2 yuan to do the sand washing, packed up and went home. Although it was only 2 days, the kids were very happy. They caught crabs, made new friends and experienced real camping. Tps! Be sure to bring 2 extra sets of clothes when playing in the water, the sea water is not cold. But it is easy to catch a cold if your clothes are wet, so be sure to bring a change of clothes and a large bath towel! The toilet on Yangshan Island has a lot of water, and you can flush the sand directly. It is just behind the visitor center. We chose to camp for accommodation, and the locals told us that we could go to Huangwo, a village with many hotels and inns. You can eat at any restaurant, the food is delicious and the price is normal. We ordered grilled squid for 68 yuan and pure sausage for 5 yuan !The sunset at the top of the mountain is beautiful, but the mountain road is steep, so it is best to wear sneakers!!! Rainbow Pier can be photographed from the top of the mountain. If you have a drone, be sure to bring it with you.
