[Madagascar] A glimpse into local life at Betania fishing village

While staying in the city of Morondava in Madagascar, a hotel staff member invited me to go to Betania. We headed there by canoe, stopping off at the mangroves on the way. (It's quite difficult to get in a canoe! lol) The villagers don't reject tourists, and show us their everyday lives. I was surprised at how different their lives are from Japan, but I was touched by their lovely, warm smiles. The children were friendly and very cute, and it was really fun taking pictures!
