Shanxi, Pingyao County, Longfu Temple, Nan Zheng

Longfu Temple, Nan Zheng was founded in the second year of Yuan Dade (1298), rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty, and repaired in the fifth year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1800). The temple faces south, with two courtyards, 30 meters wide from east to west, 99 meters long from south to north, covering an area of 2,927 square meters. From south to north on the central axis are the shadow wall, mountain gate, Guan Gong Hall, Weituo Hall, Amitabha Hall, and main hall. There are arches and caves on both wings of the mountain gate, and two bell and drum towers are built on the top. The main hall is five rooms wide and six beams deep, with a single eave and a hipped roof. The main buildings include the Heavenly King Hall, the Great Hall of the Great Hall, the Guanyin Hall, the Sutra Building, and the Ancestor Hall.
