Pingyao Dazhaimen Jinshang Old House Inn - Ming and Qing Dynasty Kang Room.

Pingyao Dazhaimen Jinshang Old House Inn is the former residence of the famous Jinshang merchant (Cheng Zunlian) of the Qing Dynasty. Cheng Zunlian invested a large amount of capital in the Yufenghou Bank. Cheng donated 5,580 taels of silver twice to support education, and his story has been passed down for more than 100 years. The Cheng Mansion was built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty and is a typical traditional quadrangle courtyard. It faces south and has 10 main rooms, a gable roof, and a front porch. The front eaves wall is built with arch windows and doors. There are 2 rooms each in the east and west wings, each with a front porch. The south hall has 3 rooms, a gable roof, and a front porch. The building materials of the entire courtyard are very exquisite, with pure bluestone as the base and high-quality wood as the frame. There are no broken bricks or dirt in the high and thick walls. The selection of materials and the size of the specifications are obvious! After hundreds of years of precipitation, the Jinshang merchants of that time are no longer there, but the Jinshang courtyard has been preserved!
