The metasequoia forest is large (claimed to be the largest in the north)! The scenic area is connected to the sea, with a large beach and sand sculptures! There is no forced consumption in the scenic area. Very clean. Cons: It's a bit far from the city center, but there are buses, and it's quick to take a taxi. There are few shops open in the scenic area now, and you can't find anything you like to eat. It is recommended to bring some water and snacks, and you need to go elsewhere for meals. Rizhao Forest Park has a total of 3 gates. Gate 1 is close to the beach. If you want to see the sea, you can go directly to Gate 1. The sand on the beach is also the finest in Rizhao. We chose to enter from Gate 2. Outside Gate 2, there is a new "Rizhao Blue" staircase for taking photos. When we arrived at Gate 2, we saw a huge Ferris wheel, but we went to the deer park first. You can feed them carrots. The deer are very friendly, and you can gently touch them. From the Ferris wheel, you can see a golden yellow vegetation and the seaside, which is really beautiful.
