The Sheraton Rizhao is comparable to the JW Marriott in mainland China

It is the most luxurious hotel in Rizhao and one of the best five-star hotels in central China in terms of hardware. The view of the Wanpingkou sea is stunning, and the executive lounge offers excellent service and unique cocktails. The private lawn by the sea is perfect for a stroll, with bird nests adding to the charm. However, when I first checked in, I was given a family room. When I called to request a room change, they sent a robot to deliver the key card, which felt a bit impersonal. The hotel was completed in 2021, and it is new with a lot of artistic decorations. It covers a large area with many photo spots. The lobby, gym, and heated swimming pool are enough to explore for a day and night without going out. In terms of hardware, it is comparable to the JW Marriott or W level in mainland China. It is one of the most impressive buildings I have seen on my recent trip to central China, aside from the Water Museum.
