Qingxi Country Park's water forest is open!

I've been twice but never made it in. This time I finally got in, but I was so annoyed by the old man that I was in a bad mood all afternoon...😭😭😭 ✨Here are some tips for you: 1️⃣ The park is huge, covering an area of about 22 square kilometers. There are many attractions inside, but the main attraction this season is the metasequoia. 2️⃣ The rest of the park is not red, only the water forest is red. This is the perfect time to visit. It's best to go on a sunny day. I went on a cloudy Saturday, which was a bit disappointing. 3️⃣ No matter which parking lot you enter from, you will have to walk a certain distance. Be prepared to walk about 10 kilometers round trip, as you will have to return the same way you came... 4️⃣ The other entrances near the park are closed, only the P2 parking lot has an entrance to Lianhu Village, but it is occasionally blocked; 5️⃣ There are many old men in the parking lot who will stop your car. They charge a fee to lead you into the village, don't believe them. I paid 40 yuan to be taken into the village and was told it was a 5-minute walk to the metasequoia forest, but I ended up walking about 8 kilometers round trip, and was blown by the wind, which made me feel so bad... I was speechless... 6️⃣ The sightseeing bus will only take you to an intersection, and you will have to walk more than 1 kilometer to the entrance of the metasequoia forest, and sometimes there will be a long line to get on the bus... 7️⃣ Although the metasequoia is beautiful, the journey is not worth it, especially if you have elderly or children with you, or if you have difficulty walking. Coming here in winter is really a punishment; 8️⃣ Some people say to drive to the north gate, which is a little closer. When I went last year, the north gate was closed. If you have been there this year, please let me know. 📍Location: No. 500, Zilian Road, Jinze Town, Qingpu District, Shanghai ⏰Opening hours: 8:30–16:30, last entry to the water forest is at 16:00 ✅Recommended viewing period: Late November to late December 💰Tickets: Free 🛻Sightseeing bus: CNY 30 per person, round trip 🚗Transportation: Driving is recommended, about 1 hour from downtown; or take Metro Line 17 to Oriental Land Station, then take a taxi for 20 minutes 🅿️Parking: There are 5 parking lots, P1 parking lot is relatively close to the core scenic area, but it has now been converted into a bus hub parking lot, private cars are not allowed to park; You can only park in P2–P5, parking fee is CNY 15 per day.
