Check in Hebei Museum, three treasures unearthed from the State of Zhongshan

Museum visits are more crowded on weekends than on working days‼️ Travel during off-peak working days to avoid crowds and enjoy a leisurely and wonderful time. Just thinking about it makes me happy‼️ Today, I visited the Hebei Museum to see the "The Mighty Warring States: The Ancient State of Zhongshan" exhibition. Let's see what important cultural relics have been unearthed from the State of Zhongshan, known as the "Mysterious Kingdom," and how many have become treasures of the museum‼️ The State of Zhongshan was a powerful state established by the Xianyu tribe of the White Di people. It once rivaled powerful states such as Qi, Wei, Yan, and Zhao, and its rulers declared themselves kings in the Taihang Mountains. Because its remains were buried underground, it was little known for more than two thousand years, hence the name "Mysterious Kingdom." Since the 1970s, archaeologists have explored the ancient city of Lingshou, the capital of the State of Zhongshan, in Pingshan County, Hebei Province, and excavated five tombs of the Zhongshan royal family and more than 100 tombs of commoners, unearthing more than 20,000 cultural relics. The mighty Warring States period has reappeared in the world. This exhibition features a selection of 1,400 sets of cultural relics, three of which are treasures of the museum. 🌈Highlights: ✅The Three Treasures of Zhongshan are the King Cuo of Zhongshan Iron-Footed Bronze Ding, the Kui Dragon-Decorated Bronze Square Hu, and the Yìn Sì Inscribed Bronze Round Hu. All of these artifacts feature the "exquisitely beautiful" Zhongshan Seal Script, with more than 1,100 characters of inscriptions, confirming the capital and royal lineage of the ancient State of Zhongshan. They are extremely precious. ✅Inlaid Gold and Silver Bronze Plate Zhaoyu Map: This is the earliest architectural plan found in China and the earliest scaled copper architectural drawing discovered in the world. ✅Inlaid Gold and Silver Tiger Devouring Deer Bronze Screen Base: Exquisitely shaped and skillfully crafted, it reveals the ambition of the ancient State of Zhongshan to dominate the Central Plains. ✅Inlaid Gold and Silver Four Dragons and Four Phoenixes Bronze Table Base: Western Han Dynasty.
