As the name suggests, it’s the same as the address. It is one of the earliest bar/lounge in this famous conservation area hence the very unique Peranakan shophouse design on the facade and the retro Chinese interiors with the red lanterns. It was an after-conference cocktail to relax and network hence we were able to enjoy the happy hour pricing. Not sure about the prices though as it’s courtesy of the organisers. Very nice place and I love the ambience. We had the upper level all to ourselves. They have outdoor seating too. Good for people watch. The bartenders and wait staff assigned to our group are very experienced and service generally were quite fast. We love the 1-for-1 martinis which is really a very good deal. Also had the fish & chips, potato wedges, deep prawn tails for that calcium boost, thin and crispy pizzas and the famously yummy prawn-paste fried chicken wings. Our table of 10 gobbled down 4 baskets of fried chicken wings! On top of other finger food! You can imagine how yummy it is.
