Why you should head underground in Stockholm

Stockholm is a beautiful city spread out over countless islands and peninsulas. Most tourists head straight to the old town - Gamla Stan - situated on a small pedestrian friendly island in the middle of city to admire the beautiful architecture of this medieval city, while others, head to the chic cafés of Norrmalm for Fika - a break usually accompanied with delectable cinnamon buns and coffee - but one thing that some visitors overlook is the stunning design of Stockholm's T-bana (Metro/Subway/Underground/MRT) stations right across the city which themselves are an affordable attraction (39 SEK for 75 mins). Take some time to admire the colourful cavernous structures hidden beneath the city with each station carrying its own unique personality. #stockholm #sweden
