Tianjin | The Ritz-Carlton The hotel I was least looking forward to turned out to be the best experience of the whole trip... 🔵 The decor is very Ritz, with a European style. The design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon, which also designed the Four Seasons Florence, is indeed very skilled. I especially liked the mornings when the sunlight poured into the room, it was beautiful and warm. I specifically requested a room with an outward view, so I could see the very charming buildings like the Astor Hotel, and the view was more open. 🔵 The service truly embodies "ladies and gentlemen." The front desk staff were efficient, and also greeted and chatted with me appropriately, and introduced the main attractions in Tianjin. The housekeeping staff would always leave extra toiletries for me, which was very thoughtful. The gym staff were humorous and talkative, the lobby guides were enthusiastic and attentive, the concierge was proactive and polite... almost all the staff were exceptionally attentive. 🔵 The area around the hotel, including Wudadao, Jiefang North Road, and the Haihe River, is perfect for a city walk, very relaxing. There are some drawbacks: ⭕️ The breakfast was average. ⭕️ The room didn't have a walk-in closet, the layout was quite standard, the wallpaper in the room corridor was of poor quality, and the edges were peeling, which affected the overall appearance. ⭕️ The balcony railing was a bit dusty. This is a very authentic Ritz-Carlton, with good performance in all aspects, and the price is friendly. It's perfect for a two or three-day stay from Beijing, and you can wander around the area. Both Tianjin (except the Italian Style Town) and the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin are worth visiting.✌️
