Il-Belt Valletta, Malta

While in the capital of Malta, I had encountered the word "Il-Belt" so many times. In the end, I only found out that Valletta is also known as Il-Belt. It is the southernmost capital of Europe and only has a population of less than 6000 people. This small city is so beautiful that the whole city is named as the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. While here, I enjoyed walking aimlessly in the old town of Valletta so much. One just cannot stop being amazed at the architecture of its buildings and monuments. Later, I found out that this style is called the Maltese Baroque architecture and was developed during the 17th and 18th centuries. #fallingforfall #malta #valletta
