Chillon Castle and Vevey

I had half day travel to Chillon Castle and Vevey, both by Geneva lake. Breathtaking scenes with clear water reflection and far end snow mountains. Chillon Castle: A Fairytale Fortress on the Water Perched on a small rocky island, Chillon Castle looks like something straight out of a storybook. Surrounded by the shimmering waters of Lake Geneva and backed by towering snow-capped peaks, the castle’s reflection on the crystal-clear surface was simply mesmerizing. A short journey from Chillon led me to Vevey, a picturesque town known for its artistic heritage and relaxed atmosphere. Strolling along the lakeside promenade, I soaked in the stunning views of mountains meeting water, with the afternoon sun casting a golden glow. The famous Freddie Mercury statue, a tribute to the legendary Queen frontman who once lived here, added a touch of musical nostalgia to the experience. The whole trip felt like stepping into a postcard—mirror-like lake reflections, distant snowy peaks, and the serene beauty of Switzerland at its finest.
