Cape Soya of Hokkaido

The "Northernmost Land Monument in Japan" is installed at the end, and if you go to a nearby souvenir shop, you can purchase the "Certificate of Arrival of the Northernmost Land in Japan". Near the stone monument, there is also a statue of Rinzo Mamiya, an explorer associated with Hokkaido in the late Edo period, so it is also recommended to visit after researching Rinzo Mamiya in advance. Soya Cape Park is located where you climbed Cape Soya, and in summer, the hills are beautifully coloured with Almeria flowers. Access - From "Wakkanai Station" on the JR Soya Main Line, take the bus Tenpoku Soya Cape Line for about 50 minutes and get off at "Soya Cape"
