Saihanba's blue sky, grasslands, and the Saihanba Spirit.

My parents have always wanted to visit Saihanba after watching the TV series "The Most Beautiful Youth." Checking the map, we found it's quite close to Beijing. We drove from Beijing on Friday morning, arriving in about three hours. The road conditions were excellent throughout the journey. We returned to Beijing on Sunday afternoon. Saihanba essentially has three sightseeing routes. The hotels there provide maps. I recall two routes branching left and right, and a straight path leading to Ulan Butong. We found the left route to be the best, primarily because it was less crowded and incredibly peaceful, with stunning scenery. The right route, leading to the General's Tomb, was also decent. However, the road to Ulan Butong was far too crowded. Remember to leave early in the morning to avoid heavy traffic. Also, pack warm clothes. We went in August, and the nights were surprisingly cold. Overall, Saihanba is definitely worth a visit. It boasts diverse landscapes, including a national forest park, grassland forest scenic area, and wetland park. Visitors can enjoy the forests and grasslands under the clear blue sky, and partake in activities like escaping the summer heat, photography, sketching, and hunting.
