Wuhan Xiangtou Marriott|| The hotel is located in one of the landmark buildings on Zhongbei Road, 'Xiangyang Building'. The hotel facilities are new, but there is a slight formaldehyde smell in some places. The basic room type is relatively large and all are equipped with Dyson hair dryers, but the bedding is hard to describe and very difficult to sleep on. The elevator response speed is slow, usually taking several minutes, and the service response on the Marriott app at night is also very slow (the kind that you can't see without calling to remind), but fortunately, the service is indeed good, providing some convenience during the stay. The guest room floors are high, and the view outside the window is excellent. At night, you can see a very beautiful night view from the outdoor terrace of the executive lounge, and the pool view (as shown in the picture) is also excellent. Overall, the experience is good. As a super high-rise hotel, the lounge is very sincerely arranged on the 61st floor, and at such a height, there is actually an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Wuhan's skyline, including East Lake. However, the terrace is still under renovation and maintenance and cannot be accessed. We look forward to its early opening. Currently, the lounge's operating hours are from 2:30 PM to 9 PM. During the afternoon tea period, there will be two kinds of desserts, two kinds of savory snacks, fruit soft drinks, and several kinds of snacks. Although not abundant, it can at least fill your stomach. You should know that recently, fewer and fewer Marriott hotels are offering afternoon tea. The happy hour offerings can be said to exceed expectations. The dishes are substantial, and the taste is also on point, leaning towards hearty meals. There are rare dishes like braised pig tails and braised tendons, which are large and full of sincerity, with excellent ingredients, cooking time, and taste. The collagen content is off the charts, making it very enjoyable to eat. There are also other hot dishes like braised yellow croaker with snow vegetables, stir-fried cauliflower with garlic sprouts, and four kinds of fried foods that you can't even tell apart. The radish and beef soup has a rich flavor, the beef is tender and not chewy at all, very delicious. There are six kinds of fruits and seven or eight kinds of desserts, but there's no room to eat them all. Although the drinks are average, there are still Corona and Heineken beers, and you can also ask the ladies to mix a few common cocktails. Overall, it's quite good, another day of being stuffed.
