Basic Information - Opening hours: 08:00–17:00. - Ticket price: Adult ticket: CNY 48. Minors aged 6 (not inclusive) to 18 (inclusive), seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 69 (inclusive) with ID cards, and full-time university students with undergraduate or lower degrees can enjoy a half-price discount. Children aged 6 and under or with a height of 1.4 meters and under with valid ID, seniors aged 70 and over with valid ID, and soldiers with active duty officer certificates can enter for free. - Transportation: Take bus No. 25, 45, or 72 to Daming Temple Bus Stop, and walk about 316 meters to reach the temple. Tour Route From the entrance, visit the Hall of Heavenly Kings, Mahavira Hall, Miaozhuangyan Hall, Drum Tower, Bell Tower, Qiling Pagoda, Jietai, Reclining Buddha Hall, Hongfo Pavilion, Sutra Collection Building, God of Wealth Hall, Jianzhen Memorial Hall, Ouyang Temple, Gulin Hall, Pingshan Hall, Qianlong Imperial Stele, Xianshou Qingfeng Hall, Fang Pavilion, Meiquan Pavilion, Boat Hall, Wanquan, Kangxi Imperial Stele, and Crane Tomb in order, and finally leave from the exit. Attractions - Mahavira Hall: A Qing Dynasty building with three rooms, front and back corridors, three eaves, and a hollow flower ridge. - Pingshan Hall: Built by Ouyang Xiu when he was the governor of Yangzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty. The hall is surrounded by flowers and trees, and the courtyard is quiet. Looking out from the railing, the mountains in the south of the Yangtze River are at the same level as the line of sight, hence the name. - Gulin Hall: Built by Su Dongpo when he was the governor of Yangzhou, the name comes from Su Dongpo's poem "Deep valley and high forest." - West Garden: A classical garden with mountain and forest scenery to the west of Pingshan Hall, with a lake in the mountain and the fifth spring in the world in the lake. - Imperial Stele Pavilion: There are three imperial steles of Emperor Qianlong inside. - Jianzhen Memorial Hall: Built in 1973 to commemorate the 1,200th anniversary of the death of Master Jianzhen. - Qiling Pagoda: Built in the first year of the Renshou period of the Sui Dynasty, the pagoda is nine stories high and enshrines Buddha bones. You can climb the pagoda to overlook Daming Temple and enjoy the scenery of Slender West Lake and Yangzhou City.
