Got up early and went to Yechun Teahouse without having to wait in line. This is a great place to enjoy Yangzhou morning tea while admiring the classical architecture and waterfront scenery. Then, head to Caiyi Street. This is a small alley full of Jiangnan style. You can walk to a bridge to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the old street and the small river. There are also many snacks and Hanfu experience shops here. Walk along Caiyi Street to Dongguan Street. You can taste various Yangzhou snacks, such as Yangda yogurt, or visit the shops to experience the local life of Yangzhou. Ge Garden is located on Dongguan Street and is famous for its rockery art. The rockeries of the four seasons, spring, summer, autumn, and winter, are made of bamboo stones, lake stones, yellow stones, and Xuan stones, and are very exquisite and unique. For lunch, I had authentic Yangzhou fried rice, Yangzhou dried bean curd, crab roe soup dumplings, and other local delicacies. In the afternoon, I went to the Grand Canal Museum. The Grand Canal Museum integrates cultural relic protection, scientific research, exhibition, and leisure experience, and you can learn about the history and culture of the Grand Canal. The museum uses modern technology to showcase the history and culture of the canal, especially the 5D naked-eye effect in Hall 1 and the boarding experience in Hall 2, which make you feel like you are traveling through time and space to experience the thousand-year changes of the canal. It should be noted that you need to make a reservation in advance to ensure a smooth entry into the Grand Canal Museum. In the evening, I had Huaiyang cuisine at Yulinglong Restaurant.
