Overview Xialao Creek originates from Niupingya in Yiling District, Yichang City. It flows from north to south, passing through Baimuping, Baima Ridge, Qinjiamiao, and Jiangjiamiao, before finally joining the Yangtze River at Nanjin Pass. The creek stretches 26.7 km. Its water is crystal clear, jade-like, and winds through the rolling hills. The banks are lined with beautiful peaks, offering picturesque views at every turn. It's a serene and wonderful place.  Main Attractions Xialao Creek Natural Bathing Beach: Accommodating thousands of people simultaneously, the bathing beach is adjacent to the Chujiashanzhai built against the mountain and a covered bridge in the ancient Bachu style, creating a paradise-like atmosphere. Shizinao Forest Bathing Area: Surrounded by hundreds of precious tree species and exotic flowers and plants, visitors can enjoy forest bathing here. Sanxia Xialao Creek Bridge: A key project of the Three Gorges Project's external transportation highway, this is a steel-tube concrete arch bridge with a main span of 160m and a width of 18.5m.  Travel Guide Transportation: From downtown Yichang, take bus No. 10, 100, or 101 directly to Xialao Creek. You can also drive there; it's only half an hour from Yichang's main urban area. Best time to visit: Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the best sunshine and scenery.
