The park is dominated by the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, whose 13 peaks are perpetually covered in snow, forming a stunning backdrop against the deep blue sky. The highest peak, Shanzidou, soars to 5,596 meters, offering an awe-inspiring sight that seems almost otherworldly. Exploring the park, I was struck by the diversity of landscapes—from the vast grasslands of the Yak Meadow to the mystical, ice-covered Blue Moon Valley. The turquoise waters of the valley’s lakes mirrored the snowy peaks above, creating a picture-perfect scene. Walking along the wooden pathways, I encountered lush forests, alpine meadows, and the occasional grazing yak, all set against the towering mountain range. The crisp mountain air and the sound of trickling streams added to the serene atmosphere. The park is not just a natural wonder but also a place of cultural significance for the Naxi people, who have lived in harmony with this land for centuries. Visiting the park felt like stepping into a living postcard, where every turn revealed a new, breathtaking view and a deeper connection to nature and culture.
