<h2>What to Expect</h2>
<p>The most convenient way to visit Pompeii and Winery Tour &amp; Tasting including lunch. Your driver will pick-up and drop-off from your hotel or nearest location will be advised, a 2 hour guided group tour of Pompeii and winery/ vineyard lunch, with wine tasting of 4 wines from the Campania region.</p>
<p><strong>Pompeii</strong> see the Roman civilization brought back to life after the unexpected tragedy in 79 A.D. burying the city in the thick layer of ash and lava which poured down from the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius.  Walk the paths viewing modest dwellings to the once elegant residences of the noble class adorned with mosaics, merchant workshops, temples and the infamous brothel.</p>
<p>Thermal baths: The “thermae” were the city’s public baths. A few private baths, but these were limited to the elite and played a very important social role.</p>
<p>Amphitheatre: the oldest known dating back to 80 B.C., holding up to 12,000 spectators for performances and gladiatorial games.</p>

<p>Upon confirmation of booking an email will be sent with exact pick up time, (approx 8:00am) at the closest central meeting point in Sorrento.<br>
