The Great Rift Valley View Point

The Great Rift Valley View Point is located near Limuru, Kenya, on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley. It is a classic scenic stopover on the way from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha, Nakuru, or Masai Mara. Driving northwest out of Nairobi, tea plantations and pine forests stretch across the highlands, suddenly stopping here as the land drops sharply to the west—standing on the edge of the cliff over 2,000 m high, the Great Rift Valley from your geography textbook lies beneath your feet: the valley floor is wide and flat, with the distinct outline of Mount Longonot directly ahead, its summit featuring a forest-covered crater; when the weather is clear, Lake Naivasha to the northwest glimmers with a silver light; the plains to the south stretch all the way toward Masai Mara, offering an incredibly expansive view. This rift zone, known as the "scar of the Earth," was shaped by long-term crustal movements. In a broad sense, it extends north to the Jordan Valley in Western Asia and south to Mozambique, stretching thousands of km and branching into eastern and western sections. The section running through Kenya spans approx. 800 km, is tens of km wide and hundreds of m deep, with a remarkably clear outline. It happens to intersect with the equator that crosses the country, splitting the land in two, which is why Kenya is known as the "East African Cross." Some geologists speculate that in the distant future, the African continent may split in two along this rift. Standing on the viewing platform is like standing on the edge of a continent that is slowly tearing apart. After leaving the viewing platform, the road winds down the steep cliff to the valley floor and continues toward Lake Naivasha.Limuru Town. · 7 km from downtown

The National Museum of Kenya is a majestic building surrounded by greenery and lush foliage. There are quite a wide range of cultural and natural history exhibits. One of the main attractions of the museum is the author of "BornFree" (BornFree). The National Museum of Kenya is a magnificent building surrounded by greenery and lush foliage. There are quite a wide range of cultural and natural history exhibitions in the museum. One of the main attractions of the museum is the series of portraits of various Kenyan tribes depicted by the author of "Born Free" (BornFree) Joy Adamson, which delicately records the cultural diversity of Kenya. The upstairs exhibition hall features nearly a thousand species of birds and other taxidermy, as well as ethnographic exhibitions of various ethnic tribes in Kenya. Downstairs are Tanzania's rock art creations, an exhibition of primitive human fossils from Lake Turkana, and various geological exhibitions. The adjacent exhibition hall displays a variety of temporary exhibitions, including Kenya's Swahili Cultural Exhibition and South Asian Cultural Exhibition, and the Masai Mara Wildlife Exhibition. The museum garden is dotted with sculptures at random, and the inner courtyard has a fiberglass model the size of an elephant, imitating the elephant Ahmed. During the height of the poaching crisis in the 1980s, the replica elephant became a symbol of Kenya. The first floor of the National Museum of Kenya also houses the Contemporary East African Art Gallery, which is like an interesting cross-section of the contemporary art landscape.Nairobi · 26.6 km from Limuru Town.

Karen Manor is located in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It originally covers an area of 600 acres. The current size of Karen Manor and Karen House Museum is only 1/30 of the original size. Although the area is small, it attracts the attention of tourists in Kenya. Karen Brixen, a well-known Danish writer, married Swedish baron Blo Brixen Fenneck in 1914 and came to Kenya with her husband to run a coffee farm. In 1918, Karen met British hunter Dennis Finch Hatton. In 1921, Karen separated from her husband and took over the management of the farm. Dennis died in a plane crash in 1931. Karen then returned to Denmark to become a professional writer. In 1937, her autobiographical novel "Out of Africa" came out and won the Nobel Prize for Literature. So, follow the wind that lifted the window screen into the house where Karen once lived for 17 years, looking for the traces of the life that inspired Karen's creation. The former residence of Karen is about 200 square meters and has 9 rooms. The first 3 rooms are occupied by staff as offices and souvenir shops. In the room on the left at the end of the corridor, there are pictures of Karen and her relatives and friends, among which the more conspicuous is a picture of Karen when she was young placed against the wall at the door. In the photo, Karen is wrapped in a headscarf, with a youthful and lively mouth slightly raised, with a smile that is not a smile, and a pair of eyes as deep as night, full of hope and fantasy about life. In another photo in the bedroom, Karen's hairstyle has changed to a feminine style, her left cheek is supported by her hand, and her eyes are lowered, so she can't see her eyes. Leaving love in Africa is believed to be the theme of this visit.Nairobi · 28.3 km from Limuru Town.

The Great Rift Valley of East Africa in Amboseli is definitely the most magnificent natural landscape in the world. It has formed a natural canyon more than 100 kilometers wide. It is home to dense forests and rich flora and fauna. It is definitely an important source of life on the African continent. The scenery here is magnificent and it is definitely a green lung on the African continent. It is well worth a visit.

Kenyatta International Conference Center in Nairobi is a Chinese-column-built venue for international conferences of the African Union. International conferences on African development investment are often held here. The design of the entire venue is very African and the equipment is very advanced. It is also Kenya's window to the outside world and is worth a look.
