Love Estadia Deluxe Suite more than Estadia Family Suite bcos of the living room area, a lot more usable space. Impressed with the seriousness they have to feedback - one evening, we shared that one of the life button did not work, that lift was closed for maintenance the very next morning. Ibis Melaka stands out above most others with clean and working facilities and amenities. I have stayed in a number of hotels there and I can safely say that the hotel will meet the expectation of many people. The reception staffs are efficient. The cleaning staffs are hardworking. The hotel was clean and tidy, but they didn't refill the soap. I had to call twice for an iron and board to be delivered. Everything seemed to require two calls to arrive at the door. The hotel food and pool were good, and the location was also fine. The only slight hassle was having to get a stamp for the parking ticket every time we wanted to leave. We made an effort to buy swimming attire for the pool as requested, only to find many people swimming in regular clothes! I'm really unhappy about this! a great budget hotel find for anyone looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. the room was really cozy. got upgraded for a bigger room for f.o.c and it came fully equipped with a tv, iron and kettle nor mineral water. as a muslim travelers, they also provide a clear qibla direction sticker. the aircond was superb too, really cold and perfect for a good night's sleep. the bathroom was the best part, it was clean and the water pressure was really strong which makes showering so refreshing plus most importantly, it has a bidet hose, which is a huge plus. the elevators are okay so no long waits. the staff are very friendly and welcoming also theres plenty of parking space, not to worry about finding a spot for parking. hotel location very strategic & located in the middle a city & convenience store for restaurants, i have to walk a little bit, but it’s a manageable distance. one minor downside, the room soundproofing isnt the best, i can occasionally hear noise from the hallway or outside the room. if youre a light sleeper, you might want to take note of that. overall i highly recommended for those who want comfort on a budgetDariRM70

I was very satisfied with my stay at Moty Hotel! The location is convenient, making it easy to visit nearby attractions and find food. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large, very comfortable bed, and the bathtub was a real bonus. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and sauna, so the facilities are very complete, and I had a very comfortable stay. The lift stop suddenly when we went to the swimming pool at level ten. Quite a scary experience, the lift stopped halfway at level 9. When the lift door open, it was not in the same level as level 9. Thanks god we were protected, nothing bad happened on that day.DariRM63

- There was a really weird uncomfortable smell in the lift lobby on the 8th floor and in our rooms.
- Need to go to the counter to let them know abt going out every time. (Scan touch & go card)
- Rooms were rlly dark and dim and looks like nobody stayed here for a long time.
- Shower had no doors or shower curtain so have to control when showering to prevent water getting all over the floor.
- Slippers have to be requested during check-in and we weren’t inform about it and had to go back down to ask, the staff even stood around waiting for tips.DariRM151

This hotel absolutely deserves a full five-star rating for its location, service, and ambiance! Upon arrival, the front desk thoughtfully offered a smoothie and a cold towel, instantly refreshing us from the scorching travel heat. After check-in, a staff member personally escorted us to our room, and we even received meticulous turndown service in the evening – a truly excellent experience.
The location is also impeccable. Directly across the river is the famous Dutch Square (Red Square), and it's only about a 200-meter walk to Jonker Street and the night market, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
What surprised me the most was discovering, while looking through old photos, that I had unknowingly captured this hotel in a picture way back in 2012 when I first visited Malacca. To reunite with it years later as a guest feels like a rare and wonderful serendipitous encounter. Highly recommended!DariRM688
