The wheels kept coming and went into the wilderness. The rain here was always unseen, but gentle enough. When the bean-sized raindrops smashed on the windshield, the wiper swinged rhythmically, cutting the world into a flowing abstract painting. I did not open the fastest gear of the wiper, but let the rain leave traces on the glass, through those blurred water marks, see the coconut grove outside swaying in the wind and rain, green almost dripping water. The car was filled with the moist air brought by the rain, and even the breath became soft. I suddenly felt that the rain was not a hindrance, but a baptism. It washed away the dust of the road and washed away the impetuousness of my heart, so that I could be honest with this world in the most authentic way. In this small car, I found a safe haven where I can put my wet mood.
