The displays are quite old but the whole place was still nice to tour around in. There is also a small area with rabbits, goats and deers to feed.
The day i went was rainy so i couldn't experience the folk village in good weather. :/ But overall i would say it will be much more enjoyable to go with tour groups as they will introduce and explain the places in detail for you, even though i usually love going solo. Very interesting village and traditional games to play. My favourite is the mini zoo where you can feed the animals for like 1000 krw. Have lots to see there so prepare like 2-4 hrs for this place. :)
An old village where you can see what the houses used to look like. In the past, to use the bathroom you needed a stick to scare away the black pigs. There is a souvenir shop where you can buy scarves made by local artisans.
There are a lot of flowers in the Jeju Folk Village Museum and there are many green plants. It is a bit small, so it doesn't take a lot of time to visit it. In fact, there are many cabins in it that are the same. I don’t think the tickets we paid were very worth it and I would rather buy something to eat at the same price. People say if you want to know about this place you have to know about this culture. So this place is all about that. They show their life history, culture, tools, family etc. The place is big and to walk to every point but it is worth it for the knowledge. You have to pay the entrance fee in front of the entrance and they will provide you with maps/brochures based on your language.
Chengyu Folk Village does not need to buy tickets. There are homes in the village. Although it has been developed commercially, it is still relatively authentic. Jeju Folk Village mainly refers to Jeju Folk Village Museum. It is a folk museum located on Jeju Island and needs to buy tickets to enter. The museum reproduces the traditional culture and folk customs of Jeju Island from the late 1890s to the present. These traditional houses display more than 8,000 folk customs materials such as living utensils, agricultural tools, fishing gear, furniture and stone objects.
Haha, great long today! Remember that Chang Jin Meng was imprisoned? The prison in the folk village has a wide open door, and everyone who wants to go to prison can go in and feel it. There is also a wanted list on the wall. I understand that there was no Korean in ancient times. The official text is Chinese.
Despite the hot weather, Jeju Folk Village took three hours to walk. The park is well designed and spacious, with lots of houses and old Jeju Island buildings. Hope to have more complete English information, but interested in the scenes of TV film production.
Jeju Folk Village is the Chengyu Folk Village. It is the base for Dachang Jin shooting. Dachang Jin took a few months here. Later, it developed into a visit attraction. There are some thatched houses in it. There are Chinese-speaking volunteers explaining the habits and customs of their locals.
