| Merlion Park One-Day Tour + Souvenir Recommendations. Singapore's most famous attraction is undoubtedly Merlion Park, so as soon as I landed, I headed to Marina Bay to see the Merlion. The park is filled with Merlion sculptures of various shapes and colors, which are definitely worth a visit and a must-photograph spot. The Merlion Park is located at 1 Fullerton Road and is open all day for free, with convenient transportation nearby. If taking the subway, you can reach the park by walking from Raffles Place MRT station. The first thing I wanted to try in Singapore was the nationally famous breakfast chain Ya Kun Kaya Toast~ Their signature kaya toast is a must-try, but unfortunately, when I went there, it was close to closing time, so only beverages were available. I ordered an iced coffee with soy milk. The taste was unexpectedly good; the soy milk at the bottom was different from the usual, very rich and thick. Stirring it with the coffee made for a pleasantly surprising blend. As for souvenirs, I have to recommend the biscuits from the traditional Bengawan Solo. The packaging is exquisite, making it suitable for gifts. There are also many flavors to choose from: Bak Kut Teh, Satay, Cereal Prawn, Banana, Colorful Coconut, etc. The store offers samples of all their flavors, and after tasting a variety, I preferred the sweet ones, so I bought the Banana and Colorful Coconut flavors, as well as Earl Grey. Bengawan Solo's colorful cake and pineapple tarts are also recommended by many celebrities. Since the cake is not easy to preserve, I didn't buy it, but I did purchase the pineapple tarts to take back as souvenirs.
