Been 2 Times - First Time in August 2024 in Afternoon: too hot, waited for cable car for more than 3 hours! But the sky was clear and views were nice. - Second time in June 2025 in Morning: rainy day but waited only 30 minutes for cable car! At the top, couldn’t see a thing but the temple was beautiful and mysterious in the fog. My advice is be prepared for any weather, try to travel there before peak summer holiday season, find beauty regardless of weather. At the top of the mountain next to the escalator there were some Chinese options and a Burger King for food. There is a Chinese restaurant with limited choices next to the temple, as well as occasional snack vendors scattered throughout the park. At the base of the steps to the Gate of Heaven, there are some choices for snacks and tea.

I bought a VIP ticket and enjoyed the free queue service by the cable car, which saved a lot of time. The children have more energy to climb the mountain with us to enjoy the scenery.
