henryfwh: The hotel exterior is quite old, but the rooms are surprisingly new. The air conditioning is good and acceptable. I slept very comfortably. There are many famous restaurants and delicious food nearby. The hotel breakfast is decent. Worth staying again, I would book again.

Guest User: The room was clean and well-equipped. Most importantly, the location was incredibly convenient, right across from the train station. There were convenience stores and restaurants downstairs. The complimentary breakfast was good, and you could enjoy the view of Douliu City from the restaurant. Plus, the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it!

Three Must-See Highlights of the Park: 1. A Dreamlike Castle Exterior and the "Golden Cocoa Tree": The castle's exterior was designed by Mao Ronghai, the architect behind Zodennis Castle. The details are intricately embellished with reliefs of cocoa beans and chocolate bricks, making it a photogenic spot during the day when sunlight streams in. Inside, the 10-meter-high "Golden Cocoa Tree" in the center of the high-ceilinged lobby is the focal point, perfectly complementing the surrounding European-style townscape, creating an instant sense of being abroad. 2. The "Bean to Bar" Chocolate Process and DIY: This is a cocoa-themed tourist factory. In the "Maya Story Zone," you can see a transparent chocolate production line, learning how cocoa beans are transformed into chocolate. The park also offers chocolate DIY experiences, perfect for bringing children to try it out. 3. Diverse Food and Ice Cream: On the second floor, there is a spacious American-style buffet restaurant, while the "Ice Market" next to the carousel is recommended to try their soft serve ice cream and shaved ice, which have as many as 18 local flavors and taste quite good.

The exhibits at the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum are truly stunning, especially the Meat-shaped Stone and the Dragon Canon, which are visually breathtaking and well worth seeing. However, the large crowds during the summer holidays made the visitor experience somewhat cramped; in addition, the layout of the museum was not as smooth as expected, which somewhat affected the overall experience.

It's perfect for kids under elementary school age, with plenty of facilities to play on, animals to watch and feed, a water play area, showers, hair dryers, a restaurant, and a chicken cake shop. There are also plenty of chairs to sit and rest on.

We loved this place so much! It was our first time visiting and we absolutely enjoyed it. There are so many attractions and rides to explore that we wish we had more time! We got here midday and the place closes at 5pm so you definitely need to go early so you can explore the whole place. The staff were all very nice and helpful. There’s a lot of food stalls and shops as well and so many food options to choose from. Getting here was also easy because there are buses that go to it, and there are buses to ride home as well (the bus stop was also really nice!) We’ll definitely go here again, and we’ll go earlier next time! :)

Today's weather was a mix of rain and sunshine, leaving us with lasting memories. The Yunnan Trail was easy to walk; although I was a little out of breath climbing the steps at first, it was all worth it. Seeing the beautiful tea plantations immediately invigorated me, making the trip truly worthwhile. The Taiping Old Street was a bit deserted on Friday, which was a slight disappointment.

In the early morning, the Alishan train slowly started, shuttling through the misty forest. The wooden seats in the carriage exuded a faint pine scent, and outside the window was a continuous green bamboo forest and towering ancient trees. The train slowly climbed along the winding track, occasionally passing through a tunnel, and the view suddenly opened up, with the sea of clouds rolling underfoot, as if in a fairyland. The collision of the wheels and the rails was crisp and pleasant, accompanied by the birdsong in the mountains, like a symphony of nature. In front of the terminal, the sun filled the carriage, warm and quiet. This journey seemed to prolong time, making people indulge in the tranquility and beauty of the mountains.

The tour guide service was excellent! I breathed in the fresh air and saw the beautiful scenery of Alishan. On the way back, the guide didn't need to take me back to the hotel, but he did. Thank you so much!
