Shwedagon Pagoda

The Shwedagon Pagoda is a gilded stupa located in Yangon, Myanmar. It is considered the most sacred Buddhist site in the country and is a popular tourist destination. The pagoda is said to contain relics of the four previous Buddhas, including the staff of Kakusandha, the water filter of Konagamana, the robe of Kassapa, and eight strands of hair from Gautama.The pagoda is situated on top of Singuttara Hill, and it towers 99 meters (325 ft) above the city skyline.
