We just had lunch at this very nice restaurant, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The atmosphere is very nice and cosy, great service. We absolutely loved the food. Highly recommended!

Japanese love for cherry blossoms is reflected in various aspects, even the name of the store will take cherry blossoms.

This store is a small shop of the grandfather and grandmother. It feels like home to eat. The store only sells ramen and fruit. It is made by the grandmother herself. Their English is not good, but there is no problem with sign language communication.

If you come to Azu Station, you must try the mustard Aso of this place. There are souvenirs, lunches and vegetables sold, and there is a space for you to eat lunch. This shop is near the station and very convenient. I have been here many times.

This cafe-restaurant is placed in an restorated old Japanese rice storage. It is one of the most beautiful interiors I have ever eaten at. The owner is a very nice lady and such is atmosphere of this place. Food is very good too (italian like). Prices very resonable. For dinner you have to call before.

Sea urchin sushi is very good, things are fresh and the particles are large. Tuna fin is thick and delicious
