I&#39;ve been coming to this location for many, many years (30+). They tore down the old location about 10(?) years ago and rebuilt a new building. Still great. I go to this location about once every year or two (and sometimes more frequently). While the clientele changes over the years, while the servers and chefs change, you can always could on it for solid teppanyaki food, sushi and sake. They work hard to keep the menu fresh, but with all the classics on it. (It seems like they just updated it again recently.) In particular, I love their sake menu. Probably have 10+ sakes and great descriptions for them. Whether your know a lot or little about sake, you can find what you like here. If you like sushi only, then you can enjoy in a more classic sit down area of the restaurant. They often have birthday specials, and you&#39;re more likely than not to have a birthday (or other celebration) at your hibachi table.

Benihana

Very nice atmosphere and the food and service was very good. I ordered the Pull Pork sandwich and it was very good.

I made a reservation to Benihana for a party of 7 for yesterday evening at 9 p.m. to celebrate my nephew&rsquo;s Pre-K graduation. We were seated approximately 5 minutes after 9:00 p.m. because our hosted stated that our table was not yet ready. Looking around the establishment, there were several tables that were empty, cleaned off, and ready for parties to be seated. We were eventually seated at one of the tables that was already prepped that I noticed while scanning the room. After being seated it took 15 minutes before our server, Chris, to acknowledge our table and to get our drink orders. Understanding that it may have been busy because there were other parties there, we did not make a big fuss about it. But the quality of customer service, professionalism and the Benihana experience that I am accustomed to was non-existed and my hopes that it would get better diminished as the night progressed. We watched as our server went above and beyond for larger tables as we waited to get something as simple as refill or order our main entrees. At one point, we had someone in our party go and ask a server at another table for a drink refill which she got immediately. After ordering our main entr&eacute;e, it took the chef over 30 minutes to come out to our table. The disturbing part of it all is there were 5 parties that were seated well after us who had a seamless process from being seated to the chef wowing the party with amazing tricks that Benihana is known for. These parties had their needs attended to and the chef out in 35 minutes from the time that their parties were seated. Honestly every party that were seated after us had quick and efficient service. It took 1 and 1/2 hours before our chef made it to the table and that was after I went to our server, Chris, inquiring why it was taking so long. Our dishes were not done until 11 p.m. and the food was not up to par last evening. My mother ordered the spicy chicken and what our chef prepped was not what was ordered. Having 3 

I am so disappointed in the service at this restaurant. I made a 5:00pm reservation at this restaurant for a party of 4. The restaurant was not full at all and we were not even seated until 5:48pm! This is totally unacceptable. Then when they finally seated us they put us right by the kitchen. I asked the waiter if there was another table available she said no this was the only one who had a server. Yet, less than 10 minutes later 2 other ladies she seated at our table got up because of the bad location and the hostess was miraculously able to find a better seat for them. I was just so aggravated by their slow service my group and another couple who was sitting at our table ended up just leaving before we even got our drinks. I ended up going to Pappadeaux&#39;s. Even though it was packed we walked right up to the front and was seated and served immediately. I was able to show my children the difference between good and bad service with this experience. I will never go to the Buckhead Benihana&#39;s again.
