We happened to come to this restaurant at dusk because the lights were on and it looked very comfortable and welcoming on a rainy night. Our waiters were very friendly and informative, but most importantly, made us feel very comfortable. My squid noodles with wild pork sausage were spectacular and calmed the day with superb red wine. My wife praised beef balls, mixing beans and salads with white wine for a smaller dinner. Lighting, noise levels and atmosphere were just right. This is our favorite neighborhood nearby and we would love to visit frequently. We were glad that we didn&rsquo;t have dinner near the downtown hotel that night. La Tavola restaurant is a real treasure.

The restaurant was really delicious. We went to visit friends in Atlanta and stayed here for dinner. The appetizer we had was cheese plate and meat plate. The cheese plate was delicious, small and delicious. Each of us loved our dinner. I had mushroom truffle oil pasta - this is really good and highly recommended. We sat at the outdoor dining table enjoying the weather here. Highly recommend coming to this place to try.

I&#39;ve been coming to this location for many, many years (30+). They tore down the old location about 10(?) years ago and rebuilt a new building. Still great. I go to this location about once every year or two (and sometimes more frequently). While the clientele changes over the years, while the servers and chefs change, you can always could on it for solid teppanyaki food, sushi and sake. They work hard to keep the menu fresh, but with all the classics on it. (It seems like they just updated it again recently.) In particular, I love their sake menu. Probably have 10+ sakes and great descriptions for them. Whether your know a lot or little about sake, you can find what you like here. If you like sushi only, then you can enjoy in a more classic sit down area of the restaurant. They often have birthday specials, and you&#39;re more likely than not to have a birthday (or other celebration) at your hibachi table.
