The building in general was nice, and we were seated quickly. The waitress's service was fine. However, I got fish & chips with fries and my husband got Phili Steak sandwich with fries. It was 7:00 ish and I hadn't eaten since 11:00 that morning, so was pretty hungry. We prefer Coke over Pepsi, so they have that going for them. However, my husband notice after my fist bite of fish that it looked off. The first bite was mostly breading and I was pretty hungry. The next bite was "rubbery" and a bit pink. I had to spit it out! I ate some of the fries until our waitress came around asking how our meal was. I tactfully told her my first piece of fish wasn't very good for the above reasons. She apologized without doing a thing about it! So, I'm sitting here thinking maybe it was just that piece something was wrong with. So, I tried the second piece that was better and told her that when she came back with our drinks. I bite in to the third piece, and it was like the first, disgusting! I will say something only if something is obviously off. Even my husband who literally NEVER complains even when he's brought the wrong item, tasted it and had to spit it out. I told the waiter only one of the three pieces was eatable. She brought us the FULL check! I told her I didn't think it was fair to have to pay for my substandard meal. She got the "manager", a twenty-something rude guy who literally brought my half eaten, picked out food back to our table to show us that we shouldn't have eaten it if wasn't good! I was never offered anything new/figferent, so I did eat a bit. We were appalled at his demeaning nature and accusation, and that a restaurant with any standards would risk my $12 meal for a bad review. I've never written a bad review for a restaurant. This is not revenge, but my honest experience that I feel others should be aware of.
