Drago's Seafood Restaurant - Hilton New Orleans Riverside

First time trying charbroiled oysters and I was not disappointed, phenomenal seafood and choices on the menu for every taste. I tried the oysters in other restaurants and they did not compare. My lobster was fantastic I can&rsquo;t wait to return.

We came here, based on recommendations from other people who had dinner here. Specifically we were told to have the charred oysters. Funny enough we never did try them.  We did however, get two dozen oysters, which were absolutely fresh and delicious . We had some salads which were excellent and fresh. We then had seafood pasta dishes for dinner.  My friend and I shared the lobster spaghetti which was plated beautifully and tasted delicious . The other folks at the table got a seafood pasta that was creamy with shrimp and scallops.  For dessert, we had the warmed bread pudding, and a chocolate brownie covered in ice cream, cream and whipped cream. They were both delicious.  I would definitely come back here again for a meal and to try the charred oysters.

Oh the yumminess we encountered

The food was so good I almost ate the plate!!!! I literally had two dozen oysters. I sat at the Oyster bar and Jovan and Sirius took great care of me! Jovan prepared my oysters with love and so nice and made me feel right at home. Sirius was such a great waiter, he checked on me continuously, had great conversation and was just awesome! It was such a pleasure dining here! The hospitality is superb.

5 star service!!!

I’m really hesitant to give 2 ⭐️ since Drago’s came as a recommendation from 2 separate friends but we were quite disappointed. Service was slow at 4 pm when it wasn’t that busy. The only thing good was the spinach and artichoke dip. All the main courses were mediocre at best. Avoid the lobster mac and cheese at all costs, chicken dish was dry, shrimp tacos were bland. Seems everything was overcooked.

Better options elsewhere

Daaron was amazingggg and his recommendations were so helpful! He did a great job with checking in on us consistently and making sure we were taken care of the whole night!

Daaron was such a great waiter! He had great recommendations and made my mom’s birthday super special. Food was great! We ordered the seafood pastas and shrimp pasta. The Mardi Rita cocktail and Swamp Water was a hit. Not to mention, the bread pudding was sooooooooo good! Def will be back.

很奇怪这家为什么才这么一点点评，这家是我在新奥尔良吃的性价比最高的一家海鲜，生蚝和炭烤生蚝都非常棒，价格也比较便宜，因为炭烤生蚝代小面包，容易饱，建议每人先点一到两个菜。一年前去吃的所以没有图了，一直念念不忘！

It&rsquo;s strange why this one is such a little comment. This is the most cost-effective seafood I have eaten in New Orleans. The oysters and charcoal grilled oysters are very good and the price is relatively cheap. Because charcoal grilled oysters are small breads, it is easy to be full. It is recommended that each person order one or two dishes first. I went to eat a year ago so I didn&#39;t have a picture, I have been thinking about it!
