Enjoyed the okonomiyaki and several different rolls. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The service was prompt and very polite. The food come out when ready, not all at once (which we enjoyed because we could slowly sample everything). All in all a great place to eat!

Having never been to a meal like this before we had no idea as to what we were going to see or eat .In the first place the place was packed and had Japanese a first good sign. We were show to our table and we joined by four others which in fact made it more fun ,I am sure you can have private tables. The server was very helpful he explained how it works and got us more drinks. then after we had chosen our food we were introduced to the chef. He was funny and artistic and a great chef he wrote messages in rice made volcanoes and throw tools about and joke . The food was fab and the beef was out of this world and very very plentiful. Looking forward to the next time we can go. A well worth visit enjoyed by us all, don&#39;t get a cab home your need to walk the food off

moved into the area, and wondered about this place. Saw amazing reviews online and it did not disappoint! This is a vegetarian Indian restaurant with a ton of options and different flavors. I ordered the black chick pea masala and naan bread - very good, and enough to take home and eat for lunch the next day. My company had dosa and masala, both enjoyed it very much. Will definitely be returning with more friends.

This place had a good atmosphere with good music and food especially the beef prime with yuzu. The sauce was delicious!!!!

Coming back from a Doctor visit and walking east on 26th Street we happened on Izakaya. We noticed a very good zagat rating in the window so stopped in to eat. It was very good and very friendly. Their wine prices were reasonable and while my wife opted for her usual Salmon sushi I ordered a Tuna Plate which consisted of two spicy tuna rolls, two tuna sashimi slices over wasabi and two large tuna loins. Rice and salad and miso soup also came with the plate. A lot for the money and all very good. Service was proficient and the prices were reasonable by NYC standards.

I think they showcase Japanese izakaya cuisine well here. The most amazing things are the smelt, clam hotpot, and the yellowtail collar. It&#39;s clean, cozy but not cramp, and service is friendly. I just don&#39;t think I&#39;d go out of my way if I was visiting NYC for a limited number of days. However, it is a good restaurant and if you have a hankering for Japanese izakaya food, then why not.
