Such a little gem. I felt like we'd walked in to where the Thursday Murder Club was set (Richard Osman's novel in case you were wondering). Sandwiches were delicious - variety of flavours and very fresh. Not sure if the scones were homemade but they were lovely with very tasty jam and generous clotted cream.

Such a lovely place to have afternoon tea. Lovely lady who served us, very polite. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.
Although the restaurant was quiet, we were tended to extremely well! The staff were incredibly friendly and the food absolutely divine! We stayed for afternoon tea and the sandwiches, scones and sweet treats were delicious. We don't eat Salmon and I forgot to tell the restaurant when booking that we don't eat Salmon, but they were incredibly obliging and made extra sandwiches for us (without Salmon!) at no charge. I would definitely go there again for a lovely afternoon - the only thing I would say is that a bit of background music would be super to top off an already splendid experience.
We booked for Christmas Day lunch as our usual wasn’t open this year. Very impressed by the Covid measures in place, the friendly staff and the nice service. Food was delicious and very well presented and tasty. A very relaxing couple of hours spent here. Think this will be our regular Christmas Day venue- superb.
I didn't realise that this is a restaurant for a care home community. So we did feel a bit out of place.... However the building and restaurant was nice, with good service and food ( limited menu)
