If you like Indian food, and would like to venture into something still more exotic, you must visit this wonderful restaurant. They have standard Indian dishes, but I urge you to try the Nepalese specialties. I had the Dhindo thali with the goat curry. Dhindo is a healthier variant of polenta, stiffer than polenta, and made with whole grains, e.g., buckwheat. I found it delicious, though filling. It is also similar to mealie meal if you've ever eaten this South African staple. The thali came with perfectly cooked greens, two kinds of pickles, dal, and the goat curry. You can also get a vegetarian version. The ambience is beautiful and relaxing and the service is great. Plus, it is in the charming Adams Morgan neighborhood. Oh, and did I mention the value for your money? Not to be missed!
