我們常用「高手在民間」，或是「酒香不怕巷子深」來描述深藏於背街小巷的美味。而這家店，我覺得是告老還鄉歸隱山林的皇家御廚饋饗鄉鄰，那種意料之外的邂逅與驚喜，不僅僅是單純對味道的評價。上島的第一天晚上挑選餐廳時，就發現了榜單上排名第一的六年私廚。只是和當時的距離略遠，就近選擇了上嶼。沒想到第二天閒逛走著走著，一抬頭居然已經走到店門口。看著門口寫著營業時間中午到2:30，只有十幾分鐘，我猶豫著要不要進門時，太太已經走進去找服務員了，做吃貨的決心顯然更強。一間由居民小院改建的餐館，我們坐在窗邊的兩人小桌，簡單的裝修，樸素的餐具，滿眼家常的味道。黃魚醬油水一入口，我和太太同時抬起頭，四目相對，鮮美濃郁層次豐富的醬汁包裹著的新鮮魚肉幾乎入口即化。一向不愛吃魚的太太一反常態吃完一整條，實在太棒，不愧高居推薦榜首。口味蝦同樣美味，一份20幾只新鮮河蝦，份量夠得上別家餐廳一斤白灼。姜母鴨沒有翹頭，實實在在半只鴨肉，真材實料。當然，這種小店的服務就不要強求，菜上齊後基本就沒人管了，全程沒有更換骨碟。有種反正好吃，愛來不來的傲嬌。
